DS is 3.5, been off the nappy for a year. He is fine when doing a wee sitting down but can't go standing up. He will standing up in front of the big loo but nothing comes out...
He is starting school soon, so does need to be able to wee standing up.
Do you have any suggestions to help him?

Don't worry, it will happen, but it takes a bit of time - at least it did for my DS. I think they find it a bit daunting at first - they seem to think they might fall in and get sucked round the u bend Grin.

Like yours, my DS liked to sit down to pee so I encouraged DH to take him to the toilet when he was going, and so that he could watch daddy pee before he had a go. I also stopped using the travel potty for pees when we were out and about Blush so that he had to pee standing up when it was an emergency. Lots of praise after he did it helped too.

Don't pressure him, but keep suggesting it and he'll get there. Don't forget he'll be able to sit down on the loos at school.
