my 26 month old DD has been potty training for the last month or so. After a shaky start she has been great for the last 3 weeks except for a small issue over night times!
we put the nappy on her at night time but she is crying herself awake shouting out that she needs a "poo" or a wee wee! this is happening several times a night. she's not properly awake iykwim so if we do lift her and try to put her on the potty or toilet she starts crying even more because she doesn't really know what's happening. We've tried explaining to her before bedtime that she's been a good girl all day and she doesn't need to worry at night, that she has a nappy on and that we'll sort it all out in the morning but the last week has been horrible with her getting upset every single night and getting more grouchy and tired as the week goes on.
what do we do?
