I read about this on the net, seen one mum putting her baby on the potty after a feed- has anyone had any experience of this? Does it work (DS 6mo) or is it just a hassle??

It's great! Try bornready.co.uk for more info, or yahoo group ecuk. Doesn't necessarily mean early toilet indepence but often does, and it's lovely to be able to meet your baby's needs in this way - it's very bonding. You don't have to do without nappies.
