My success with potty training - stickers!

I though I share this with you. It might help.
We started training by taking my daughters nappy off at evenings when she was 26 months old. But NO WAY she would sit on the toilet or potty.
After two weeks with no success I bought those bath foamy stickers where you have boy and girl with clothes and accessories. She absolutely loved them so I said she can play while she is sitting on potty. I gave her pot with water and she would sit for ages on either toilet or potty and play with them.
So that was first stage solved.
After that she would go sometimes into potty and sometimes into pants. I bought simple white potty and bunch of Peppa Pig stickers that we kept in toile
Straight away and I mean straight away she figured it out that she will get a sticker to stick on her potty each time she goes into potty.
And that was problem solved.
For a while we would put nappy on her when going out. But I have soon seen its not a good idea. She started being confused and would forget when nappy was on so one day I said no more nappies!
Another tip for travelling. We are out and about all the time. For me the biggest problem was train with no toilet and mid of shopping centre and so on.
I bought toilet training mats for puppies in Pet shop.
Yes it may seem absurd but you can do it with baby disposable changing mats as well. But they are more expensive and bigger.
Just the other day we got stuck for an hour instead usual 15 min on train. She had to go twice. I took mat out, spread it on the floor and she pee on it. They are very absorbent and also have odour control effect.

She is now 28 months. Still have night nappy on though but during day no problem at all.

Did the other passengers not say something about her weeing like that?

Some good ideas there though.

No, no one never said anything. I think it's stupid that a child would have to wear nappy because there is no toilet on train or even more stupid that we should not travel for that reason.
Its no different then weeing on the pavement or behind the corner. If you live in a city you have to adjust to it and be smart about it.
The fact that me and baby can travel around and not worry about weeing makes us both happy.
I have even used it in westfield shopping center the other day because it takes too long to get to toilets!!!!
