My 2 and a half year old is terrified of the potty. he just wont used it. I even took him to let him pick a potty for hiself cost me a fortune but he still wont used it, any one in same situation? or been in this situation? how did u get past it?

Let him play with it. Sounds absurd, but I used to pretend DS's teddys were all excited about doing wee-wee's on a potty. DS loves his potty now, just a case of getting him to remember that he still needs to use the potty when he has his pants on Grin

I have tried the playing with the potty but did not work i even bought dvds of his favourite tv programs witch had them using potty still did not work. he done pee in potty this morning but was an accident lol. i made such a big fuss praising him so he knew that was good but he still wont go again.

my son is 9 years old an he is still using a potty should i be worried???
