where can i buy mattress protector sheets?

my 4yr old having 5 dry nights out of 7 on average...don't really want to go back to putting nappies on him...but his mattress stinks!

People keep telling me about mattress protector sheets, disposable ones? I can't find them anywhere though? Which shops sell them? Do I get them off the internet?

pampers do disposable protector sheets, I've bourght them in supermarkets (sainsburys) before now, but they are quite pricey.

I now use a plastic sheet underneath his normal one, mothercare I think. If he has an accident in the night you just change the top sheet and give the plastic one a wipe down. It's not too warm yet so he's not too sweaty!

they probably mean these , Pampers also do a version. Available from all Supermarkets.

I've tried them and find that they don't stay in place, not sure if it's my wriggly kids. Have given up with them as the mattresses were still getting wet and have resorted to waterproof sheets like this . I've even started double sheeting DD's bed so if/when she does wet the bed all I have to do is strip the top sheet and mattress protector off the bed and then she can to straight back to sleep on the sheet underneath. I then sort the rest in the morning.

We've got the HippyChick ones. They're expensive but fab.

I bought washable ones from Boots. I have also used the pampers disposable ones in the past

I second Hiipychick ones - I have just bough another one. My tip - buy the flat cotbed one (about £15 from amazon) - you don't need the single fitted sheet. It is easy then to take it with you if you are away & easy to change, wash etc. You just pop it under the sheet and it works brilliantly. It is breathable too so the mattress stays nice.
Not cheap - but brilliant!

Can I third HippyChick? Sadly wrigglytummy's excellent tip too late for us.

I got a washable one in Wilkinsons and it was only a couple of quid. Been quite happy with it. :)
