Hi my ds has just turned 3 (last week)has been potty trained during the day for the last 3 months no accidents we got it sorted-finally :) my quick question is he has been dry for the last 7 nights in his pullups and i was gonna start putting him in pants but my mum told me it was far to soon and that he wouldnt do that until he was about 4 so now am confused, obviosuly i dont want ot rush him but it seems silly to put him in pull ups and he has potty by the bed-what do you think everyone? thanks for reading

If he has been dry that long then he is ready IMHO. I'd trust him. Make the bed up with a waterproof undersheet (recommend the hippychick ones) then let him wear pants.

FWIW my DD went dry in the night at 23 months, so seems madness waiting until 4!!! She did have a few accidents after, but nothing unreasonable, and often the bed was dry, just her pajamas wet because she woke up OK, but didn't quite make it to the potty on time.

My DD was night trained around age 3. She was the same, several dry nappies in a row, so we knew she was ready for it.

ds was dry in the day by 2 and dry at night by 2.5years. I didnt put pants on him at night - just his pyjamas

Sorry to hijack your thread but my dd (3) went for weeks with dry nappies at night and then they started to be wet again - I think I've missed our window of opportunity but I don't know what to do now!! Any ideas?

FWIW my ds was dry at night by 3 so it sounds like yours is ready.
