Started potty training DS today. He is 3 years, 2 months and frankly I feel like I cannot hold off any longer. He is pretty much the last one at playgroup to still be in a nappy and I am starting to feel a bit judged for being 'the lazy parent' when really having had two failed attempts already I know he's not really ready. But I have opted to step and bite the bullet. Please please encourage me to keep going and reassure me that this is going to get better, more successful and easier. So far he has done two wees on the potty
, no poos anywhere (I'm bracing myself for when it does happen!) and he is currently wearing his TENTH change of pants/trousers
. Should I just stop and start again in a fortnight? Or will he finally start to get it if I just persevere...?!
