Delicate Issue

My DS is 2.5 and will be starting nursery in October. So, basically, it's time for toilet training. However, he isn't particularly 'gifted' in the penis department and it's too small to grasp and also, there's not enough to 'tuck down' when on the potty. Do any of you have any experience of this and, hopeufully, some advice on what to do? Thanks.

Splash guards could work for you. Hope it'll work out. Is it really urgent to potty train him now, or could you wait for him to grow a little bit?

Mine went potty trained from nearly one day to the next at the age of 34 months.

Can he stand of the step and wee straight into the toilet? My DS can do this handsfree (and his aim is brilliant Grin) he's a bit older though, at 3.7...

on a step, sorry

my ds's willy is small too Grin. No problems potty training (he was also 2.5), we just made sure it was tucked in when sitting. He only really stood up when caught short when out and about - the rest of the time he sat on the loo to wee.

He now wees standing up all the time and just rests his willy on the band of his trousers, moving his body to make sure there are no splashes. He's 6.

thanks for the tips guys - looks like sitting on the loo is the answer!
