Have gone cold turkey wrt to potty training - DS has been with out nappies and either in training pants or naked bum during the day since then.
SO he is back at nursery tomorrow armed with a few pairs of pull on trousers and training pants, do you think this would be okay?
He has had some success with the potty but also a couple of accidents. Ideally would take a week off and get on with it but am self-employed, and expecting DC2 in June so can't afford to take any time off atm.

Ok, so take about 6-7 pairs of trousers, pants and socks maybe some extra shoes like crocs or jellies for indoor, and wellies for outdoors.

The nursery should be fine, its what goes with the age, i work in a nursery, and have no issue with potty training, its part of my job.

i would provide only cheapo pants though, cause if the do a horrible poo in there pants, we bin them, and the training ones you can't bin, well you can but parents haven't been impressed when nursery have

Thanks :)
Have already spoken to the nursery, but hoped that the training would have gone slightly better over the weekend!

Have got a nappy bag (Ds has been in cloth nappies) so hoping they won't bin the training pants!

The children have got to start somewhere, not every child gets it straight away the problem i find with training pants they can be to similar to nappies in that they catch most of the accident, some children need to feel what it is like to be wet. And normal pants will help with that.
