Large comfortable potty

DS1 is potty training at 3.1 but most seats seem to be designed for dainty 2 year old bottoms! He struggles to poke his willy down the hole in time. Are there any that are a little bit bigger, and are thus a bit more comfortable?

My DS is 3.3 and is happy with his Mothercare potty. Don't know if it's bigger than other potties, but my DS will happily sit on it for ages, and his bum cheeks don't hang over the sides (like I'd imagine they'd do on a dainty potty).

Hope potty training's going ok for you. Since introducing a sticker chart (1 sticker for a wee and 2 stickers for a poo), DS has come on in leaps and bounds. When he fills the 16 boxes on his chart he gets to choose a fun-size choc bar.

My DS also has this problem (Thomas potty from Mothercare - stupidly tiny)so I was eyeing up a friend's large potty the other day - 99p from Asda apparently! It looked huge.

DD's fairly chunky so I got her a baby bjorn one as it looked bigger than the average potty & which DH refers to as the throne! It was defn more than 99p from Asda though, so I'd try that first!

I got DD one shaped a bit like a bear - not a 'brand', with a lift out potty. Its like a small chair really. Got it from an independent shop.

Baby Bjorn is nice and wide around the brim. I got one after noticing red marks from the thin-brimmed potties on DD1's bottom. She spent so long sitting on the potty that I wanted her to have a really comfy one. Don't know if it's got more room for willies.

We have a prince lionheart one, the seat is spongy and soft and as it's so big it doesn't get accidentally knocked over. Seems to get dd's seal of approval anyway.

Weve got one that converts from a potty to a loo seat with a step. I think it came from vertbaudet originally. When in potty mode it has a wide seat (about 35-40 CMS?) and arm rests. The potty bit lifts out from the middle - its obviously fairly comfy as ds2 likes to sit on it and watch tv while fully clothed!
