Hi there,

How old is your son? Your should be able to provide you with a potty chair. Ours cae via the SW OT, not the health one.

If he can use an ordinary potty, Boots sell a really big one in their larger branches and on website. Sadly the website picture isn't very good as only the front is visible. They are in pink or blue. I reckon an 8yo could sit on it comfortably. The range is called Born2shop or something similar. You could always jazz it up with stickers.

Would the toilet not be okay? Perhaps with some sort of frame/toilet seat over it?

I think Boots have stopped stocking those big potties now, sorry.

What about the Litaf 'seat a kid' in Argos, converts from potty chair to loo seat with arms and step, pricey at £32.85 but might have extended use for your DS, and you might find one on ebay. Argos would let you look at it first I think if you wanted to see if it would be big enough. The pot looks quite long from front to back on the seat.
