DD won't use toilet at nursery

Hi, I posted this on behaviour/development too, but maybe here is the right place...

My dd (3.9) won't use the toilet at nursery, she just uses the potty there. She uses the toilet at home ok, but for some reason is scared of the nursery toilet and has become quite upset about it, worrying the staff are going to 'make' her use the toilet, even though I've spoken with them and they have said they don't and won't.

Any ideas or experience of this? Thanks.

No real advice other than it will probably get better in time. DS2 went through this - he didn't like the noise of the flush (or the smell!) can she explain exactly what it is that is worrying her?

Yes DD went through a phase of this and it was gradually overcome by the staff not pushing it, then me taking her to the nursery toilet myself at drop-off and pick-up. She still won't poo on the nursery toilet unless I'm there though Hmm
