My 2.2 yo DD seems ready to be potty trained. For 3 days she's been nappy free. When she has nothing on her bottom half (ie at home) she doesn't have a single accident, (wees or poos), but as soon as we add knickers and trousers she just does it in her pants!

I've tried leaving her in wet things for a while but she doesn't seem to care! Any tips?

We've had a similar problem. We've just tried leaving her with a bare bottom as much as possible so that she gets really used to doing it correctly, and then trying from time to time with pants on. It does seem to be getting a bit better, although she's still pretty unreliable in pants. I think it's just a question of time. When she starts to pee in her pants and then we get her to the potty in time to get some in, we praise her and reward her as normal for a pee in the potty, but then talk about how brilliant it would have been if she could have got it all in the potty. So far, this seems to be working - at least a bit! Good luck.
