You see books and advise on 'potty training in 3 days' and simular things, were at 1 week 2 days and DD 2.10 is doing really well but we still have an accident a day

is this 'normal' ?

Keep at it. Your DD (and you!) are doing really well. I don't believe this potty training in 5 days or whatever business. I think it is just a way of selling books. My little one took about a fortnight to really get in the swing of it and it was several weeks before I was really confident. She was 2 years 2 months and your little one will probably be quicker as a bit older but when I hear people thinking they'll manage it in a few days I think it is unrealistic..but am sure someone will prove me wrong.
Just hang on in there!!!
