Not really potty training, but does anyone know where I can buy some not too expensive waterproof sheets for a cotbed?

The ones in Mothercare were £17.99 and I'll probably need a few!

Thanks.

don't know - bought one from Tescos nd it was rubbish - plasticky and not actually all that wee-proof.

watching with interest...

oh, that was for a single bed.

for a cot bed, i bought from Ebay - cottony ones not all-plastic. th super cheap buy it now ones = tat.

Although they were quite pricy, I bought matress protectors form GLTC I think abuot 5 years ago.
They are like a super absorbant mat, which lays on top of the sheet (or underneath if you prefer).

When my DC were night training - and bearing in mind my DS didnt learn until he was 7 - i just put one of the mats on top of the sheet were he was lying.

Accidents during the night were caught in the mat - so if he had an accident early on, I could just lift the mat and replace with the other one.
They are both machine washable.

We take them on holidays or to sleepovers etc.

Now both DC are more or less reliable, I put them underneath the sheet. Just in case!

They are not sweaty or nasty - and really work.

They have some in dunelm mill.

I don't recommend the mothercare ones. They claim they are cotbed size, but they don't cover the entire mattress, just the main area, iyswim.

Thank you! WE are nowhere near Dunelm mill but my Mum is so I'll send her off on a mission!

Dunelm ones are exactly the same as the John Lewis ones and are cheaper.

we use the ones from Boots - they are also about £17 and have done ok so far (single bed sized)
