3 year old wetting pants again

Can anyone give advice on how to approach this. My 3 year old boy has just given up saying when he needs a wee. He always says "Sorry - I've done a wee in my pants" but never really seems to mind being wet. I have tried rewarding him when he asks to go but nothing seems to work. Should I just be ignoring it in case it puts too much pressure on him? He is also still wet at night and in pull ups and again doesn't seem to card about being wet.

We're in a similar situation. We can ask him every 5 min if he needs a wee and he can still have an accident, and not seem that bothered about it. His default answer is that he doesn't need to go, so the only way is to send him to the toilet/potty at regular intervals eg: I'm not turning the TV on till you've tried to have a wee.

He has been having a little bit of chocolate at bath time if he has been dry all day (which we know he can do), but that no longer seems to be cutting it. Last night I made 4 jellies from a pack (Co-op had an offer - 3 packs for £1!) and his incentive now is to be dry all day till we get home after nursery, then he can have a jelly.

I'm hoping this will focus his mind more and get him into better habits, as I'm fed up of washing trousers!

I'm in the same situation with a stubborn 3 1/2 year old. No bribe seems to work - sweets, peppa pig pjs if been dry all day...doesn't give a monkeys about being wet, doesn't bother telling me, but if I ask she's honest and can tell me where and when she did it. Tearing my hair out, sorry I can't help, just wanted to say you're not alone!

Well, jelly worked yesterday - we'll see what today brings. Just proves he can do it.

Thank you - it is good to know it's not just him!! At the moment I am just taking him to the loo every hour or so but often it's not in time. He always says "sorry - I've done a wee in my pants"...but doesn't really care. I have been trying reward stickers but will try chocolate as that may be more his kind of currency!

Jelly report = 4/5 days - also with sending him to toilet every hour. Everyone has their price! Fingers crossed Luto.
