My 3 and a half year old daughter has recently started pooing her pants over the last couple of months, not every day! I think it stemmed from when we were on holiday and she was ill and had an upset tummy from the antibiotics. That all cleared up then when we were home she started at the end of the day not going to the toilet. I have tried telling her its ok it's an accident and talking to her about it, ignoring it, telling her off, taking toys away etc and nothing seems to be working. Its very intermittent, nothing has changed in her life no-one is picking on her no one new looking after her my hours haven't changed at work etc. Has anyone else had the same problem or have any suggestions on how to deal with it? Help!!

Had this problem, like u said i tried everything and it was only sometimes. I started telling my ds that he needs to use the tilet "like the other boys and girls at nursery do" and also he did it once when we were at a play centre so we had to go home which my ds wasnt happy about but i explained we were going home because he pooed himself and needed new pants etc. Touch wood he's stopped it now
