I'm not really potty training DS yet as only 16 months but I recently put the potty in the bathroom so he could get used to it. This is just a revolting story so don't read if you are squeamish!
This evening he clearly needed a poo and sat on the potty. After a lot of farting and a bit of straining he stood up and turned expectantly to look in the potty clearly hoping to see something.... unfortunately the poo was stuck to his bottom and fell onto the floor as he turned! Clearly disappointed at this turn of events he immediately picked up the poo and plopped it into the potty, then happy that all was where it should be and all was right in the world he popped his thumb into his mouth and sucked away contentedly.... YUCK!!!
