Big potty recommendations for a 4.5 yr old

Hi

My DS is 4.5. He is dry but refuses to poo in the toilet. I am basically trying a process of elimination at the moment to try and work out why he won't poo in the toilet.

I am thinking of trying him on a potty just in case it is that he is frightened of sitting on the toilet (he stands to do a wee). Does anyone have any recommendations for a large potty that is big enough for a 4.5 year old? he is about average size for his age.

Some of the larger Boots stores and Boots online have a really big potty, they are in pink or blue, not the same as the little ones they have in stock in all the stores.

Has DS said that he will try to use a potty? At 4.5 he should be able to give you some idea why he can't poo in the loo (excepting special needs or language delay)

Hi

Sometimes he says he is scared. But normally he just denies he needs a poo. It is complex though as he is autistic and I think it is linked to that

MaeMobley

I definitely would be interested in one of the BB potties - how much would you want for it?

I don't have a CAT subscription but if you can email me my email is [email protected]
