Potette - how to use?!

We have a Potette Plus (I think thats what its called) for DD, who is getting on with it fine, except..... I can seem to make the legs stand up. This means if I try to get her to sit on it when we are outside (instead of putting it across a toilet) I have to balance her 'just so' and instruct "just DON'T MOVE!"

I've heard you can do something clever with the legs to make it stand firm, but can't figure it out. Can anyone help please?

I think you probably have to get the legs into position and then press down on the seat bit and it should click into place. At least that's how the original potettes worked!

When you need to fold up, pull each leg to unclick and fold legs inwards

i find i have to bash them into place quite firmly. it is pretty sturdy once you have got htem in the right place but they also then need a sharp tug before they unclick to fold back down.
good luck. My potette was one of my best purchases

I had this problem...need to get the legs to actually click into place. It does get easier with use as well

Yes having this promblem too, have to bash it really hard to click in. Think it will loosen with use though

They do loosen quite a bit. I couldn't do ours at all the first few times and DS's first attempt on one ended up with him being pitched off sideways into a pile of leaves, but it's fine now (just as we're starting not to need it any more!!)
