How long should it take

DD is 3.4 and will be starting nursery in 4 weeks time. Have been putting her in pants the last 3 days, and have had about 10 accidents a day, some are just before she gets on the potty, but others she's just wetting herself? How long should it take for her to get it?

At her age I would say it would probably take about a week.
She will have accidents, but the accidents should be less as the week goes on. She will be learning from each accident and make progress.
Once you have started it, though, you will have to continue it, or you will just confuse her and prolong the agony for you both.
Good luck

I'm trying to potty train DD1 (2.4) at the moment (her idea). We've done 5 days and she's having maybe 3 or 4 accidents a day.

I find this whole process baffling, so my advice is not worth much but I would think it is a good sign that she is nearly making it to the potty - she's obviously aware when she needs to go and knows what she should do when shr gets that signal.

have had more accidents than in the potty today, more success when wearing nothing!Been bribing with Haribo, for a wee! Still not had a poo though, hoping she will do this in nighttime nappy though (have had poo probs for a long time)
