Day 1 and no luck so far, thank goodness for wooden floors - last time I had carpet! I remember feeling like this last time I potty trained - DD1 10 years ago. Seemed like for 2 or 3 days it wasn't working, then she made the connection. Hope the same happens this time! She'll be 2 at the end of Aug and I'd like her dry by then, which I know is ambitious, but I think she's ready. She certainly knows what to do. Just not quite when to do it... Anyone else starting today?

DD currently wearing Charlie and Lola pants on bottom and a pair on her head.

yes I started with DS today......he's 3 next month.
I gave him 2 fruit shoots this morning....and waited.....
5 wet accidents in 1.5hrs......5 changes of clothes...
He knows during and after but not before......
I put him back in a nappy, went out for the afternoon, and will try again in a week or two..........just don't think he is ready yet.

hi, I started ds yesterday.

Day 1 - all accidents, even though put him on potty every 30-60mins. He's 2.4.
Day 2 - wee floor, wee pants, poo just done in potty woohoo, thought it wouldn't happen! have at last been able to give him a 'treat'!!

Just thought I'd mention...we potty trained ds in may but for the first few months every time he had a fruit shoot he ended up having about 3 wee's in the space of an hr when he'd usually go a few hrs between wees-and usually at least one accident. May be worth giving it a try with water or juice? I dont know what it was about the fruit shoots, as he was fine with other drinks!

my sister had to avoid artificial sweeteners, like in fruit shoot with my nephew as he couldn't tell when he needed to go when he had a drink with it it. I don't understand why but its what she said.

We're on day one today my son is 2 and 3 months so far a dribble in the potty and two accidents! Ah well he's in a nappy now for nap time, will see how the afternoon goes

Aaargh. Not gone well so far. So tempted to put nappies back on - she's not made it to the potty once today. Gah!
