Staying away from home - pull-up thingies?

DS was dry at night really soon after being dry in the daytime. We just dispensed with nappies shortly afterwards and he wet his bed the first night and never since.

Since then he wet his old mattress (he was sleeping on the floor while his Grandma was staying and she was in his bed) and he had one inexplicable wetting incident when in our bed (but he comes into our bed every night). So, 3 occasions since March.

We're staying with family next week and I'm wondering if being really tired and excited and out of his normal environs may result in more wetting. Being in someone else's house (and he'll be sleeping on one of those inflatable toddler ready-beds which would be hell to clean) is making me a bit nervous - should be use some sort of night nappy type thing or is that asking for trouble at this stage?

could you take those disposable bed mat things instead? I wouldnt put him back in pull-ups as that may encourage him to wet. Just make sure he doesnt drink too much too late in the day and you get him to pee before bed

Ah yes, I could do that I guess ... though thinking about it not sure if they'll work, think the inflatable thingy has an integral sleeping bag

Hadn't thought of them though, I'll get some to take - thanks
