DD1 is 3.4. She is otherwise very typical developmentally, but we are really struggling with potty training. We are trying to have her in knickers as much as possible in the day time but she seems to be constantly weeing.
EG today we went to messy play. She did a wee in the potty before we went and wanted to wear knickers. It took us half an hour to get there and she was fine, I offered her the toilet but she refused. Within five minutes of getting in the room she was sat in a puddle and it was me that noticed rather than her telling me. I got her changed and sat her on the toilet, where she weed. Fifteen minutes later, she was sat in another puddle.
Where does it all come from?
If I sit her on the potty or toilet she nearly always does a wee, but short of sitting her on there all the time, what can i do? She is getting through 3 or 4 changes of clothes a day.
