hi everyone

advice needed on stopping! my little one is 2 yrs 7 months and have been training for 2.5 weeks. she gets poo in the potty 50% of the time, wee hardly ever! she sits on the potty (with or without prompting) for a nanosecond and then jumps up again. after lots of this ends up wetting herself. all my instincts are saying 'give up' but then she's taking her nappy off at night/first thing in the morn so seems to be finished with them so putting her back in them full time would seem a bit pointless. should we give it a couple more weeks?

Hi - I have a very similar scenario after three weeks(you can find my post a little further down this topic), and have been given lots of conflicting advice. In the end I just decided to give it a break as I ended up with 8 poopy/wet pants every day, very stressed and my daughter clearly not understanding what all the fuss is about. I just have to get over the competitive mummy thing...
