Ds3 (2.10) manages his wee control well. He just refuses to pee in the toilet. Pees at will wherever else he feels like (and doesn't pee e.g on a long bus journey not long after large amount of fluid because the bus driver wouldn't like it ...) He even finds it funny to pee in inappropriate places ... WWYD? It's driving me nuts.

He does it because it's a novelty being able to control when and where he pees, and he knows it winds you up. It needs a will of iron not to get angry. Remind him where he needs to go, and if he has made a mess, he must help clean up. Apart from that, don't rise to it, and he will get bored eventually. Has he tried one of those balls in the toilet for aiming practice, might entice him to use the loo more? And reward him for pees in the right place?

bribe! a sweet for every wee in the toilet. terrible parenting according to some, but works.

Ice lolly has been the standing bribe since last Friday - no joy. Have given up to maintain aura of calm.

an ice lolly after every single wee? isn't he a bit sick of them?

Hasn't had one yet as he hasn't peed in the toilet yet ... just everywhere else.
