Hair loss advice

I’m over 2 years postpartum with my 3rd daughter but my hair loss hasn’t stopped yet and it’s really getting me down! I’m still breastfeeding and my periods haven’t returned yet so I’m kind of putting it down to that. It’s mainly my hair line it’s so thin and patchy! Has anybody got any advice or tips that could potentially help? Whether it be supplements or special hair shampoos something that could make their hair loss less and the regrowth more. Going into New Year I’m really trying to put myself fast and make myself feel better.

Hi. I didn’t want to read and run. I am in my early 50’s now but I lost a lot of hair in both my pregnancies. The GP said it would grow back after but it never really did. I also lost a lot during a serious illness, and then peri-menopause joined in! The hair on my crown is very thin now. It is really depressing and definitely affects how I feel about myself.
I have been taking Biotin and collagen tablets, but I’m not sure they have done anything so far. I have been using Nioxin 3 step system (shampoo, conditioner and leave-in) and it has really slowed how much hair I lose in the shower and every day. It is much less so hopefully I can keep what I have.

Hopefully someone will be along with more advice
