Before I had a baby, friends told me they were sicker than they'd ever been in their lives when they sent their kids to nursery. Well, fast forward – I'm 9 months PP, baby girl has been at nursery for 3 months (I returned to work at 6 months PP due to my DH and I doing Shared Parental Leave). And...my god. What started with a sniffle led to colds, coughs, norovirus (particularly unpleasant), and now I constantly have a sore throat and aching bones and EXHAUSTION. I've been so rough since she started nursery that I've lost 3kg with zero effort.
Anyone else feeling like hot garbage postpartum? Especially since your LO started nursery/you returned to work? I used to have so much energy and zeal and now I'm just an exhausted, sick, aching husk lol.
As a disclaimer, my GP did send me off for a load of blood work today but did suggest I was probably just 'run down', citing motherhood and working as primary factors. Yeah, no s**t.

Gosh this thread reminded me of the first year of DS life - I think between pregnancy and the many vomiting bugs I caught while he was a baby I was sick more in those couple of years than the entire rest of my life combined.

Probably not much comfort for me to say he is 4 now and I completely forgot that this time had even existed. I will sound like a bot or an ad here but I would recommend symprove - I didn’t start this until after DS2 but I did feel it helped my immune system considerably
