Late period after having a baby

My baby is nearly 5 months old I didn’t get my first period till 13 weeks after birth with him but have only had the 1 and nothing since about 2 weeks after the first period I had a bit of cramping and discharge I’ve taken tests and all came back negative just wondering if this has happened with anyone else?

I can relate. My baby is just over 5 months and I got my first period when he was around 12 weeks, the second period was on time but my third (most recent one) was 2 weeks late… also had symptoms of coming on but was delayed by a couple of weeks. Who knows when the next one will be.
I’ve read a lot of similar experiences online!
