No period after birth

Hello, my baby is 11 weeks and still no sign of a period. Slightly worried as I am only 22 and never had any issues before only ever bottlefed and had a c section I’m not sure if they would have anything to do with it?

Were you started on any contraception after birth? A hormonal type might explain no periods. If not, is there a possibility you could be pregnant?

11 weeks isn’t very long, even if you’re bottle feeding! I’d mention it to the doctor if you’re worried, but it can take a few months after birth for your hormones to settle

No I haven’t been on any contraception since the birth and me and my partner have been very careful using protection so don’t think there’s a possibility of pregnancy.

It doesn’t always come straight away as your hormones are all over the place and your body has changed it needs to get itself back into alignment so to speak. Im 9 months postpartum and im having my first period since the birth
