Feeling baby kicks 8 months after birth?

8 months PP. I still feel baby kicks/flutters!
I am getting negative pregnancy tests. Having protected sex. Period has not returned. EBF.

When I breastfeed I seem to get the most kicks/flutters but also get them when I am not feeding.

C-section delivery if that makes any difference I don’t know if it would?

How long will this continue? Did anyone else experience this?

No harm or bother really but it just feels exactly like it! I get a bit freaked thinking oh god am I pregnant?

Thank you ladies!!

GP for testing?

It's gas moving around. You probably got it before but didn't notice as much. When you nurse, baby probably puts pressure on your tummy, and you're still, so more likely to notice it. As usual though, if you're worried and think it's unusual, check with your GP.

I remember having this. Can't remember when it stopped, but it did at some point. It's been several years since my youngest was small.

Gas? I still get them 4 years on, very sporadically, I think it just triggers the memory of baby kicks.

I still get it occasionally 20 years after having my last baby.

Oh really!! 😂 8 months isn’t that long then compared! Xx
