Pain peeing 9 days after c section (stopped and restarted)

Hello!
I had a EMCS 9 days ago, and had a catheter. When they removed it I had some pressure low down below my scar while peeing, which is normal, and it resolved.
But all of a sudden today the pain is back ! They took my staples out so wondering if it could be linked to things moving and resettling or something ?
has anyone else experienced this ? Specifically the pain going away and coming back again?

Hi OP!!congratulations on your baby!!

I don't mean to alarm you but I had pain when I went to the toilet after my second c section. Like an uncomfortable pulling that meant I felt like I couldn't open my bladder fully. I put it down to normal recovery and ignored it... which was a bad move as it turned out to be a water infection that got pretty bad (also had a womb infection from retained tissue at the same time that may have contributed to the pain, not sure).

anyway, please get checked just in case it's something like this. The pain can come and go as it can with any infection.

Likewise, it could also be absolutely nothing and all part of your body healing. But please get it checked, just in case!

worth adding - I've had three sections and the only notable pain when going for a wee was this infection during the recovery from my second.

Ah thank you so much for your reply @HallidayJones6779 !

it seems a bit better today - did you have any other symptoms of the infections ?

my bleeding has basically stopped and nothing is smelly ! they dipped my wee two days ago (went to the hospital as a bulge appeared in my belly and wanted them to check it wasn’t anything sinister) and it was ok (though I know it can obviously change since then)

In hindsight I felt really unwell so I think if you feel well of yourself and you've been checked over, it's probably just recovery for you! Although I would speak to the midwife if it lingers! Congrats again xxxx
