Has anyone else had this done and did it help with pain from the scar?

I had this done as well as scar tissue cut away and stitched at same time. Didn't help with my pain but everyone is different. Physio was all that worked for me.

So even having scar tissue cut away didn’t help? I’m so sorry.
What did physio do? X

Yes. It worked brilliantly. The pain beforehand was horrendous. After the initial healing (think it was about 4 weeks) it was completely fine, never had any more pain. That was 26 years ago. No issues since

I’m really confused by your message sorry. Did the surgery help you or not? Sorry I’m on the fence about a repair and wanted opinions.

What did the physiotherapist do for you? Was it massage x

No it didn't help but I'm glad I tried it. My physio basically massaged to release muscle tension. She thinks the scars on one side were causing the other side of my pelvic floor to over compensate and it was basically a battle going on between the two sides of my pelvic floor muscles. That's what caused the awful pain.
