Indigestion 3 months after giving birth

I gave birth back in December and to start with I didn't really have any indigestion, but since my daughter was about a month old I've been suffering with pain at the top of my abdomen, I can't remember if I had this with my son's as they are 12 & 8 if I have alcohol it makes it worse as does fizzy pops. Sometimes it can be so bad that I have to be sick to ease the pain. Drs have given omeprazole but I get anxious about taking it, as I have health anxiety. Just wondering really if any other mom's have had this after having a baby and if so how long did it take to settle. TIA

I would get checked by the GP and see it as separate thing unrelated to giving birth three months ago.

Me 🙋🏻‍♀️

But I also had it bad throughout pregnancy, and often get it mid cycle so mines is definitely hormonal. I am finding the more post partum I get the better it is getting though. For the first month it still felt like I was pregnant! I take Tums bought from Amazon which are a godsend as omeprazole etc didn't really help.

Hi, I'm now 19 weeks postpartum and it's pretty much gone. I've always struggled due to poor diet, so I've been trying to make some positive diet changes and touch wood they are helping.

I'm glad you are on the mend with it!

I'm 17 weeks PP so hopefully heading the same way!
