13 month old and sleep during night

Hi All,
Hope you and your LOs are doing well.
My LO is 13 months old and recently he will wake up like 2 to 3 times in the night.
He will usually breastfeed and go to sleep or need to be rocked to sleep.
However, recently, he just doesn't seem tired when waking up middle of the night, sometimes I'll try to be patting him to sleep but his eyes are fully open and he is just staring straight at the wall, like he isn't phased by anything and it worries me when he does this, because he isnt crying or anything, not even tired and I feel so bad for trying to make him sleep when he is clearly not sleepy and is awake!!
Has anyone experienced this at all?

Family members keep telling me how I need to get him on the bottle or on cows milk and get rid of the rocking to sleep as he is over a year but i can't. He has let go of the bottle since maybe 8o this and doesn't want it and he refuses cows milk.

Night weaning will probably help.

If he's awake, but not crying, leave him to it. You don't need to be doing anything if he's fine.

Similar situation here. On the one hand 13 mth DC is developmentally thriving but the broken sleep is taking a toll. Refuses milk and just snaps wide awake when I put them down just like when a newborn.
I’m awake now and don’t know what to do with them. I’ve already been holding them for an hour and just keeps stirring and complaining

Not helpful but sending you a hand hold - you aren’t alone!
