Dear Mumsnetters,
I hope you and your LOs are well.
I have a 10 month old baby boy.
I have tbi due to abuse I faced when I was 8 months pregnant (ex partner slapped me very hard across head many times, and then again 4 months later around head too). I had 2 mris and they didn't find anything but still pain is there on right side of head.
I have immense fear of hitting my head anywhere now and even bumping it into anything or brushing my hair hard.
I woke up today and realised my baby was up near the head frame of bed and I was underneath his feet and he was kicking my head, not kicking hut lifting feet and slamming as I don't think he understands yet properly how to kick he kind of just bends leg and stretches it back out but doesn't mean it with force. Anyway, I woke up to him doing that on my head and got so scared. My cousin was with him hugging him while he was doing that.
I was very down on the bed as I use
use a blanket for me and put him on top of the blanket and I go down so that my head is next to his tummy sideways due to fear of it getting on his face. That's why I was so down next to bottom of bed.
My question is, my cousin reassured me he was t up long and was only playing about kicking for few minutes. But I'm still scared... would my baby even kicking me in the head a few times even with the medium force he did, cause my head more injury or damage at all??
I know I sound very crazy now but I honestly have PND and just everything scares me a lot.
