3 month post birth - hormone dip or the return of AF?

Hi everyone,

looking for stories/a hand hold.

not sure if it’s just AF gearing up to return or if there’s usually a hormone fluctuation at 3 months post baby but I’ve been feeling exhausted physically and emotionally this week!

Im home alone Monday to Friday with a just turned two year old and a 14 week old so it could just be that. Littlest person is EBF and periods didn’t return until around 10 months last time (when night feeds slowed) so would be surprised if it was this soon the second time round but who knows?!

anyway. Really not sure why I’m posting other than moral support or your stories of post baby hormones? I should remember what it’s like from last time but it already seems a distant memory!

I don’t have any answers but just wanted to say I’m at the same point with my first (but not breast feeding) & having similar feelings/concerns. Thinking it’s the lack of sleep catching up with me but I’m thinking of giving it another week then contacting gP if I don’t feel any better. Sending positive thoughts, it’s such a whirlwind!

Hi!! Wanted to see how you were feeling a few months after as I’m currently going through this now 3 months post parfum! Everything makes me cry lol but otherwise I’m very happy and positive! Also normally a VERY positive and social person!

My husband is away all week for work so was wondering if it was that and being sleep deprived but definitely think it’s linked to hormones
