Postpartum periods- how long is your cycle now?

Hiya, I am 5 months postpartum and combination fed for the first 6 weeks. I had my first period in March and now I'm day 36 with no sign of period, I've been getting cramps on and off but that's it. I'm fairly sure I'm not pregnant but will take a test in the next few days if it's not shown up.

What were your cycle lengths postpartum? And how many cycles did it take to get regularity? We would like to try for a second soon but it would be a natural FET so I need to have normal cycles to do it.

I'm nearly 15 months postpartum, still breastfeeding and had my first period in January. This tallies with my experience with other children, except this time was horrendously heavy which I don't remember before.

Then I had a second period after 64 days and currently on day 37 of this cycle... I didn't keep any sort of track with my previous babies, but I reckon by 6 months after period returned they had settled down.

Not much help really, but bumping for you!

Thank you for your reply @TotHappy it sounds like it could be a good few months of irregular cycles, I had no idea that this was the norm!
