Hi moms
I wanted to know your experience regarding getting back in shape
Am having a bad time managing my food quality and since i applied fir Mat leave I haven't been moving much after DC

Any good experience of mums who got back in shape and lost the abd fat

Specially if you had a cS?

Looking forward for hopeful experiences ❤️🫠

I was wearing crop tops etc after my first c section. I found going daily walks helped with swelling and bloating after birth. It was also easy to just wrap baby up and go out no matter what the weather but it just needed a motivation .
Once I was nearly 3 months pp I started going to the gym for an hour a week just to try tone up.

I’m not one for diets but made sure I had 3 meals a day and a snack in the afternoon and evening. I love to snack so this was the hardest bit cutting down my portions to a good size and not binge eating.

@Hiddenvoice
I need the motivation exactly
I just want to know whether i should leave the baby with a friend or at a nursery while i get done with my workout
Its been 6 months pp now and l did like total of 8 workouts only so far
I get tooo scared to leave him awake while i workout

I lost my weight quickly after both DC, but even after DC1 my abdominal area never went back to 'normal' (and I had vaginal births). All women get diastasis recti during pregnancy and even if it goes back to what is considered 'normal', there is still a split there between the muscles so it never does look exactly like before, it hangs slightly. I actually think this was probably more noticeable on me because I was a size 8 than if I'd been bigger. So sadly never had the confidence to ever go back into a crop top and I was only 24 when I had DC1 too.

@WeightoftheWorld ah yes
Your situation is a bit different than mine

I am 32 and was 67 kgs but had no abd fat
Thats why they fit me best

I will try nd restricting unnecessary foods and sugars hopefully it helps

And get a goodbaby carrier and have a daily walk
I feel it may make a difference

Thank you so your input
