Weight loss after birth

Hi all, just wondering if any of you have experienced quick weight loss after birth? With my first (who was formula fed) it took me over a year to lose my baby weight. This time (breastfeeding) I'm a stone lighter than my pre-pregnancy weight after 4 months! Not sure if it's a breastfeeding thing? I'm eating like a horse and not exercising at all but it's just falling off. Thank you.

I'm also a stone lighter than pre pregnancy at 4 months and also breastfeeding. I wouldn't say I've been eating loads though so mine is maybe more understandable. I'd check with GP or health visitor if you're worried.

I think it just varies. I bf both of my DC, and the first time it took ages to lose the weight, but the second time it just dropped off and I had trouble keeping my weight up.

I ended up eating way more than the recommended amount just to keep weight on with my first. Eating good proteins and good fats seemed to help.

For DD1 I put on half my body weight again and within 4 months it was gone despite eating loads i couldn't put anything back on even when I was down to 1 feed a day before my daughter turned 2! Am hoping it is the same this time as I am already massive at 19 weeks!
