Urinary incontinence starting 16 months on?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a later onset of urinary stress incontinence?

I didn't have any issues following my baby's birth but lately have had a cough and seem to be leaking quite a bit?! And sneezes too?

Just wondering if it's common to not have any of this happen until over a year down the line?

I had this. I think it was caused by using a baby carrier / sling instead of a pram :(

Hmm I usually use a pram, although I do lift DD a lot and she's pretty heavy, maybe that's part of it 🤔

Just so surprised to have it come out of nowhere all this time later.

Yep I've had this too and suspect lugging a not yet walking toddler round is to blame. I've found wearing a hip seat all day helps so that it's already on when picking child up and down.
