Do skim tags from haemorrhoids ever go away?

I had awful haemorrhoids after delivery (a cluster of 5 ranging from the size of a blueberry to a cherry tomato) honest to god the worst part of the whole experience (and I had a third degree tear!). A year later and I still have 5 decent size skin tags. They are very sensitive and rub on my clothing when I squat, sit on the floor, exercise etc. They are also hard to keep clean. Will they ever go away? Can they be removed? What are your experiences? Thanks!

I’m interested in this, I’ve got a lump of skin that constantly hangs out.

As far as I know they are easy to remove - the doc just snips them off. Could you afford it privately? I imagine it would be hard to get on the NHS
