Hands and feet - tingling and pain

Hello,

I am 15 weeks postpartum and in the last week I have noticed pins and needles/numbness/ache/pain in both my hands and feet.

I have been to the doctors who have said they can't see anything worrying and have had bloods taken which shows I have good stores of everything and my platlettes came back normal. Which means my iron was normal, my B12 normal ect.

I am now so worried, despite doctors assurances as it feels like the symptoms are ever changing. Has anyone else experienced this postpartum? I am terrified it is MS or a tumour on the spine. The doctors believe I have carpal tunnel but can't explain the achy numb feet

I know that my back has been aching since carrying my daughter around who is now a happy 3 month old.

My mum believes it's my anxiety but I've had my anxiety my whole life and numbness/pins and needles and pain has never been how it manifests itself.

Looking for some reassurence. I'm feeling quite low about the symptoms I'm experiencing.

Could be hormones?

This was one of the main symptoms I had with premature ovarian insufficiency. Not suggesting you have that just showing it can be linked to hormones.

Mine didn't ache but I lost sensation/tingly etc.

I had lots of funny sensations, tingles and sometimes hot or cold rushes in my hands and feet when BFing DS in the early stages.
I assume it was a hormonal thing and it stopped after a few months.

I had this both times after my pregnancies. After my second, I had scans, checks and the lot as it was quite concerning. About 15 months postpartum it stopped all of a sudden. It was so weird but I was literally back to normal like nothing happened

Hand foot and mouth started like this for me. Firstly just a tingling then became pretty unbearable.

You could try an osteopath or chiropractor for a spine check, it could be a trapped nerve.

Thank you everyone for your help! Hopefully will get the bottom of it soon. Developing what I can only describe now as growing pains in my legs but in a weird way hoping this is the grand finale and I stop feeling these feelings in my feet and legs. I'm just putting the hand stuff down to carpal tunnel. Speaking to doctor again today for further reassurrence.
