I haven’t had a period since having my son in May 2021 (so almost 3 years!) I’d put it down to extended breastfeeding as I’m still feeding him in this way, however decided to go to the doctors a couple of weeks to check that everything is ok. A blood test result has shown low levels of LH, however everything else is within the normal range, so I am going to have a repeat blood test in a few weeks. He is also going to arrange for a scan of my womb to look at the tissue lining.
I have lost a bit of weight recently, which I put down to again breast feeding and running around after my 3 children, however now I’m wondering if this too is linked to the low LH levels. I’m now worrying about pituitary problems and infertility, and wondering if anybody else has been through the same?
