Hi
any mamas out there who have had a c section I’m due in a few weeks meant to be going on a uk family weekend around 3 months after

I’ms this usually enough time to be able to take the kiddies in the pool and sit in a hot tub? Just thinking about scar recovery had a natural birth last time

thanks xx

You should be absolutely fine to do all this 3 months after 😊

I waited 12 weeks, purely because I don't have a bath and that's when the first opportunity to get in a pool presented itself! I've had no issues since.

Yea of course that’s plenty of time once you haven’t an infection in it after birth etc

It's impossible for anyone to say if you'd be 100% fit for a swimming pool/hot tub holiday 12 weeks after a c-section. It all depends on your personal recovery.

Mine took 5 months to heal as I got a hideous infection. My friend was skipping round the house after 3 days.

Everyone is different. Just go with the flow and enjoy the holiday in whatever shape or form it comes in.

And good luck with the new arrival!

I went on holiday 10 weeks after my first and 12 weeks after my second. Didn’t go in any hot tubs because there weren’t any but swam in the pool and sea!
