Spotting after having a baby 4 months ago?

I had my baby 4 months ago, via planned section. My bleeding stopped at around 8 weeks PP, I didn't get my first period until I was 15 weeks PP, twice now I've had light spotting and I've just got it again. (It's like pinky brown) my first period was really heavy.

I'm just wondering if this is normal or something to be concerned about? My next period isnt apparently for another 10 days.

Gosh my period was totally irregular for the first year post c-section! Would just come at random times and sometimes I wasn’t even sure if it was a period because I’d only bleed for 48 hours! I’d say totally normal unless there’s pain or a weird smell.

Hi @gonewithtthewind

just wondering how your periods are now? I like you didn’t have my first period until baby was 14 weeks old and was very heavy. Then had spotting 2 weeks later period came 2 weeks after that so to me that’s ovulation spotting as Iv always had ovulation spotting since my second child. Anyway this cycle.. I had my period days 1-7 spotted pink day 13 which I presumed was ovulation but then just spotted again on day 15. Don’t know what’s going on.

any advice welcome

thanks

@Nomoreplease2016 hi

i have just replied to you on other thread, I didn’t realise I had spotting twice that cycle. Looking at the dates of when period came afterwards I would say it was ovulation spotting for me x
