Breastfeeding need help!! Baby on me all day

So, up until 6 weeks old my baby fed every 3 hours and slept for 3 hours. She always had a clicking noise but i’ve never been in pain and midwives said its nothing.

at 6 weeks everything changed. She wanted to feed all day constantly, i thought it was a growth spurt. Now at 4.5 months old i’ve been feeding her all day constantly since 6 weeks old. She falls asleep almost immediately after going on my nipple. When she does come off or i take her off after 30 minutes or an hour when it seems like shes in a deep sleep she now wakes up rooting for my nipple and she will wake up if i don’t give it to her. Before i could slowly put her down for a nap which she would nap maybe 25 minutes but this week she will wake up right away when i put her down she jumps up. I try patting her bottom and shushing it does not work she just gets angry.

at 10 weeks old i noticed she had lip tie, we got her lip and posterior tongue tie reversed, and it took till now for her very loud clicking to stop. However feeding has not gotten much better at all. I think she has now created a sleep association with my boob. She looks constantly tired even though she sleeps on me all day. She sleeps about 5 hours on me and at night she goes to sleep from 12 - 5.30/6 feeds and sleeps until 8.30. A few weeks ago sometimes shed sleep until 6.30/7am. However this week shes waking up from 6 and then wants boob an hour later. I don’t understand why she can sleep during the night without me but can’t during the day.

i have tried dummies she pushes her tongue out on them. I tried at 6 weeks too she sucked a few times then spat out and then i didnt try again stupidly. She refuses bottles as i tried to give her pumped milk one day.

i wanted to try formula feeding as i feed her from 8am until 12pm everyday and have to hold her all day to sleep I'm exhausted. However she doesn't accept bottles. When she roots for my boob in her sleep she wakes up and cries if i dont give it. She just holds it in her mouth and does light sucks she does swallow sometimes. Ive tried giving dummy when she roots she cries.

sometimes when i try prolong feeds it works and she drinks a lot at the start and fast. Other times she gets overly hungry and tired and cries for an hour and wont latch. I never leave the house as its too stressful and shes on my boob all day. And i cant cook either as dont have time or to even go out and grocery shop.

pls help!

Sounds absolutely horrendous. Could you consult with a lactation expert and/or sleep advisor. You must be so incredibly shattered. Hope things improve soon.

It is very stressful, I didn’t have the situation you have of baby wanting to be fed all day but he did sleep ok at night but not in the day. It has only recently started to get better and he is 7 months.
in regards to bottle refuser I also have a bottle refuser and we are currently trying lansinoh bottles and he is doing better so maybe try them. Also the only dummy he accepted is the bibs one

My baby is on me 24/7 as well. It’s gotten better now she’s 3 months and has a longer wake window and a bigger tummy. I exclusively breast feed as she won’t take a bottle so my husband can’t help. We co sleep so baby is next to my nipple and can feed throughout the night. Are you sure you are producing enough milk? Have you looked into the two different types of milk as maybe baby is only getting the foremilk and not enough hind milk?

for me I get my food shop delivered and order pasta pots etc that I can eat easily while baby is on me. No cooking required and it’s cold so no risks of landing on her.

do you have a partner or family who can help?
