Period after baby

I had my baby 3 months ago via c section, I breastfed for 8 weeks.
I still haven't had a period, I'm not sure if this is something I should be worried about? I also don't know how long I should wait to have my period. I have had unprotected sex a few times but I haven't done a test in around 2 weeks (it was negative) do I just keep testing? I have no symptoms that I'm pregnant and I've assumed that I'm not ovulating if I'm not having a period. (I could be wrong tho I don't know)

I don't know if anyone can help?

It might take a while for your periods to settle, especially if you stopped BFing just a month ago. It can take a few months to get back to full fertility.

Are you trying to get PG? Because you might be fertile before your AF even shows up Wink

You will ovulate before a period, so if not wanting another pregnancy already, you will need protection going forwards

Not sure if an old wives take, but people say you are quite fertile after having a baby/stopping feeding
