Period or more serious?

I’m 7 weeks pp and started bleeding today. I’m exclusively breastfeeding - so surely not my period?
how do I know it’s not something more sinister? I had a C-section so I’m particularly worried

When did you stop bleeding post birth? Are you having any pain or other side effects?
I got my period 8 weeks after giving birth and was ebf so definitely possible.

Stopped bleeding a couple of weeks ago, no pain or dizzyness etc!

This exact thing is happening to me... but I'm 2 weeks post partum and this is the first bleeding I've had at all post C section. I had zero bleeding in hospital or after - until last night...

I had delayed bleeding with my first csection too, so I wouldn’t worry - just keep an eye out for how you’re feeling and the amount of blood ☺️

@Lolarosemama just sounds like a normal period then but keep an eye on it!
